Wheelie
Rockfish Sculpture
Sometimes whimsey takes
over and the usually accurate illustrative rockfish sculptures take on
a humorous tone. Wheelie is more of a characture of a little dragster
fish than the real thing.
Wheelie's background
is a linear gradient with "noise" created in Photoshop. It is a little
more interesting than the plain background he was on. What do you
think?
Wheelie is like other
Rockfish Sculpture. He has a natural surf-tumbled stone for his body.
I made the wheels just for him. His feathered tail is formed from
galvanized steel wire. When the patination occurs on this material,
it turns gray.
