Trios Gallery in Solana Beach, Southern California
As an artist, I have been fortunate to be associated with Trios. It has been more than a warehouse to store artworks, but has been a very dynamic orgainization with a good reputation in Solana Beach. Association with the fine craftspersons at Trios has certainly helped my own artistic career.
The physical location and ownership of Trios has changed over the years, as well has the composition of it's staff members. I believe I have been associated with the gallery name for as long as 15 years or more. I have had a good and consitent run of sales from the beginning of my association. Currently, during these recessionary times, under the ownership of Sheri Fox, Trios has retracted it's physical presence to being strictly 'On-Line'. Sheri has had a good communication relationship with all of their patrons as well as with her suppliers of fine original artworks. We still have a good relationship and a few larger architectural pieces have been ordered and delivered. My plan it to continue to work through Trios representation into the future.


I have shown the sculpture titled 'Stone Lotus' at Trios Gallery
 

This is a steel and stone hanging sculpture. 'Stone Lotus' is dated from 2006. It can hang from a beam
mounted hook with chain. This sculture is made from rusted steel reinforcing rod and contains three
captured natural stones. Width 20", Length 94", Weight 75 lb. There are six individual components which
are connected by integrated S-hooks. Each piece comes apart for shipping and installation. This sculpture
has been sold, but similar sculptures will be available through Trios.
