Gertie's husband, Allan, decided to display the sculpture
fastened to a steel plate which was anchored to the rock wall in front
of their home, I peened-over the heads of the fasteners so they could not
easily be unscrewed. Chances are that these measures will keep the sculpture
from theft.
The sculpture stands out against the blue sky.
The use of steel threaded rod cast in epoxy into the
rock wall guarantees the sculpture will be difficult to remove and relatively
safe from theft.
