I have so many great memories.  Trips with good friends and great catches.  Let me share a few of these pictures with you.  Please be patient as some of the images may take a while to download.

Scott Nelson helps clean the fish
It's always a thrill to sit next to a child who is holding a razor sharp knife. I was showing Scotty (Skillet) Nelson how to fillet fish. He used the tip of Ian's best fillet knife to pop the eye out of one of these parrot fish and snapped the tip right off the knife. Was Ian pissed but later we got a good laugh over it.

Doug Ulmer has taken his share of large sized yellowtail.  This one was over 50 lb. Doug brought it aboard just before dark.  There was only time enough for one picture before the sun went down.  It seems like the biggest fish show up just before dark.

Doug's yellowtail is a nice fish by anyones standards.  Only a few are taken this big evey year.

It takes a real specialist to hunt white seabass. Don is one of the best. His intuition always puts him in the right kelp bed at the right time.
It takes years of experience to consistently bring nice fish like this in. Don is an expert at hunting white seabass. The white seabass is one of the most esoteric fish to hunt in California waters.
