During this period , John Warren was employed by the design , fabrication firm of Dubin and Moore. Primary responsibilities were drafting, layout and fabrication of 'art furniture' primarily for client Steve Chase Associates, Rancho Mirage, CA. Although much work was done for Chase and Associates, other clients provided a significant percentage of work. It was at this time Warren was exposed to the use of 'Art' in architectural settings. With the urging of Lygia Robbins Dubin (former wife of Jorg Dubin), John Warren applied and was accepted to the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts in 1990.
