Bigscale Pomfret
This marks the end of
the saga for this rare specimen known as the Bigscale Pomfret. The
unusual fish was found dead on the beach 200 yards from San Onofre Nuclear
Generating Station (SONGS).
In a few more seasons
of exposure to the elements, this mummified fish will completely fall apart
and fall of the fence. This photograph is a lasting tribute to a
rare deepwater fish.
