Steel
Sculpture in Cactus Garden
In
order to illustrate the use of sculpture in it's garden setting utilization.
I am showing you a picture of a "Geronimo" or previously named, "Phoenix
Torch". This sculpture is now in the garden of Gary and Nancy Beverage.
The sculpture to the right is titled "The Munich Bride-1998" and has been
finished since this picture was taken. These sculptures fit nicely in the
cactus garden. Unfortunately, due to the wet weather produced during the
ENSO, El Nino, of 1998, the cactus rotted-off and died only to be replaced
by volunteer grasses. Managing a garden is something which requires time
and effort to keep beautiful or interesting. I prefer low-maintenance xerophytic
species that allow me to spend more time with my sculpture.
Thank
you for visiting my studio garden. Steel sculpture can augment the xerophytic
landscape.
